What is it used for?

This hay net is ideal for horses that eat hay quickly or become bored between feeding times. The small mesh openings encourage slower feeding and keep forage available for longer periods.

A slower intake supports a more natural feeding pattern and helps spread forage consumption throughout the day.

Why choose this product?

With its 3 x 3 cm mesh size, this hay net slows hay consumption more effectively than standard hay nets. It is especially suitable for easy keepers, fast eaters and situations where forage should be distributed over a longer period.

Advice from De Hagedoorn

The smaller the mesh openings, the slower hay is usually consumed. A 3 x 3 cm hay net is therefore particularly suitable for horses that finish their forage quickly. Check the net regularly for wear and always hang it safely so the horse can eat comfortably.
