Key benefits

  • Granulated lime containing calcium and magnesium.
  • Supports a healthy soil structure.
  • Helps correct soil acidity levels.
  • Improves the efficiency of fertilizer use.
  • Suitable for horse pastures, grassland and lawns.
  • Easy to spread evenly thanks to the granulated form.

When to use?

Granulated lime is used when soil becomes too acidic or when overall soil quality needs improvement. A balanced soil pH helps grass make better use of available nutrients and supports strong growth.

Regular liming can be an important part of maintaining productive horse pastures and healthy grassland.

Directions for use

Spread the granulated lime evenly across the pasture or grassland.

The exact application rate depends on soil conditions and current pH levels. A soil analysis provides the most accurate basis for a tailored liming recommendation.

For best results, apply outside periods of drought stress and preferably before rainfall.

Advice from De Hagedoorn

Liming and fertilising each have a different purpose. Granulated lime improves soil condition and helps make nutrients more available to grass. For the best results, combine a suitable liming programme with a well-planned fertilisation strategy and regular pasture maintenance.
